Reiki is a method of accessing and using the universal energy which surrounds us all. Although this has developed to become a therapeutic treatment, the original concept of Reiki was for individual self-healing and spiritual development.

Usui Reiki is a simple, direct and accessible form of healing used to bring balance and peace to body, mind and spirit.  Reiki is, first and foremost, a path of personal self-growth and a journey of self-discovery and exploration.

The Usui Reiki First Degree training and attunement is the first step on your personal Reiki journey and I believe it is important that before committing to a course, all potential students have a chance to meet with me as their potential Reiki Teacher (and to experience a Reiki treatment if they have not previously received one).

Course content includes:

Course Dates:

Please contact me for details of forthcoming course dates.

On this course you will learn about the origins of Reiki, the basic precepts, an introduction to meditation techniques and how to use Reiki for physical and emotional self-healing. If you wish, this may then also be used for friends and family (and pets!). Attunements will be given to open your connection to this gentle but powerful energy and there will plenty of time for practical work.

This provides an excellent introduction to Reiki and is open to anyone aged 16 and over.

Course Fee £175.00, including course manual and on-going support.  Pre-course reading about the history of Reiki will be followed by a one and a half day in-house training course,

All courses are held at my home in Swanage, Dorset. A minimum of 2 students are normally needed to run this course, although 1:1 training is available (an additional cost will be incurred).

Training can be undertaken over 2 consecutive days, two separate days within a two week period or weekly evening sessions over four to six weeks.
